Description
WHAT IS GOAT MILK CREAM?
Goat Milk Cream (formerly known as Capra Cream) starts as fresh goat milk collected from our happy goats on our farm in the Pacific Northwest. It is then run through a cream separator which extracts the cream from the milk without chemicals. We dry this concentrated cream using a Refractance Window Dryer® which utilizes minimal heat and refracted light to provide a delicious, healthy, and shelf-stable goat milk cream. The dried flakes are simply added to the bottle without applying any additional processing.
WHY IS CLA IMPORTANT?
Goat Milk Cream possesses several essential fatty acids, the most important being conjugated linoleic acid, also abbreviated as CLA. CLA is well known in the health and nutrition world and has been looked to for its health benefits for decades. CLA is only found in the meat and milk of grass-fed ruminants (cows, goats, deer). Goat Milk Cream also contains a much higher level of medium-chain fatty acids than cow milk cream.
Important: Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is only found in grass-fed animals, such as goats, cows, and sheep.
WHY IS GOAT MILK CREAM NOT IN POWDER FORM?
Goat Milk Cream contains too much fat to be milled with our available technology. The flakes can be easily ground with a mortar and pestle and simply added to a smoothie or hot coffee.
It starts as fresh goat milk collected from happy goats on the Mt.Capra farm in the Pacific Northwest and then dried with Refractance Window® Dryer technology that uses minimal heat and refracted light to provide a delicious, healthy, and stable goat milk cream.
